If you love animals and would like to help the Gananoque and District Humane Society by donating your money, we will be happy to assist you with this!
As you might already know, we are a not for profit organization and we rely solely on donations from caring people like you to help out the less fortunate furry critters in our area. We really do appreciate your generosity, as we are always in need of funds to keep our society running.
As you read on, we will explain each possibility with you.
A monthly donation is a wonderful idea if you would like to help our society on a monthly basis.
At this time, we have three options for your monthly donations.

To become a monthly donor by having your gift deducted directly from your bank account, fill in the monthly donor via my bank account form and a monthly donation of your choice will be automatically withdrawn from your bank account on the 15th of each month! We know that we are all facing financial difficulties during the global economic downfall, but just think of ten dollars as 4 bags of chips at the grocery store and imagine all the furry friends you will help!

Regular or one-time donations by credit card may be made on-line at www.canadahelps.org.
Go to “make a donation” and enter Gananoque & District Humane Society under the request for name of charity. A credit card number is required and a receipt is issued immediately by Canada Helps via email.
- Monthly payments can also be made using post-dated cheques. You can drop your cheques off at the society at 85 Highway 32 in Gananoque.
If donating monthly is not your preference at this time, becoming a one-time donor is easy as well! You can:

Send your donation by cheque or money order to the Gananoque and District Humane Society at 85 Highway 32, RR#1, Gananoque, ON, K7G 2V3 via Canada Post. Cash donations may be delivered directly to the Shelter. Don't overlook our Donation Jars at various locations. Every penny counts!

You can also drop by the shelter and make a donation on the spot (and hey, you may come across a new friend as well)
Don’t forget that you will receive a tax donation receipt for any amount you contribute over $10.00!
(We also always gratefully accept donations of supplies in addition to funds. In case anyone wishes to volunteer their time, we have many jobs that need to be done 7 days a week, 365 days a year. So, even a donation of a few hours on any day of the week is a great help to us. Thank-you for taking the time to care!)
