BECOME A SOCIETY MEMBER
You love animals and would like to become a member of the Gananoque and District Humane Society… what a wonderful idea! But you might be asking yourself what does becoming a society member actually mean?
First off, becoming a member of the Gananoque and District Humane Society means that you will always be updated on what is going on at the shelter through our bi-annual newsletter. This newsletter is put together by our wonderful volunteers who put in many hours behind the computer, all for the love of animals.
Also, an active Gananoque and District Humane Society member has the right to vote at our annual general meeting usually held in June. An active member means a person who is actively involved with the shelter, which includes working at the shelter, driving for the shelter or being involved in events outside of the shelter that help promote our cause.
