Pound Cat Series by Karen Bockus

The inspiration for my Pound Cat Series came about as a result of adopting my cat Puss-Puss from the Gananoque and District Humane Society. I became touched by the many homeless cats and the unbelievably dedicated group of volunteers that care for them. The Pound Cat Series consists of original 6” x 6” paintings of these cats.

In response to the endless need of resources by the Humane Society I have decided to help by dedicating a portion of the commission money of all Pound Cat paintings created.

A Pound Cat commission is essentially open to anyone, whether they have adopted a cat or not. The commission price is $125.00 plus tax, $50.00 of which will be donated back to the Gananoque and District Humane Society in the person’s name, with a tax receipt issued by the society.

My Pound Cat Limited Edition Print (featuring nine cats) sells for $110.00 plus tax and a $25.00 donation will also be made to the Gananoque and District Humane Society in the buyers name, and tax receipt issued.
