Become a Foster – Make a Difference in a Cat’s Life

Have You Ever Thought About Fostering?

Fostering is a wonderful way to welcome a feline companion into your life—without the long-term commitment or added costs of adoption. Maybe you:
  • Have experience caring for diabetic cats or cats with other medical needs
  • Are retired, live alone, or work from home and have time to give
  • Simply love cats and want to make a difference

Some cats only need a few weeks to transition from shelter life to home life, and you could be the person to help them feel safe, loved, and ready for their forever family.
"Open your home, open your heart, and see the lives you can change!"

Why Become a Foster?

Fostering gives cats and kittens a safe, loving home while they wait for their forever family.
When you foster, you:
  • Provide comfort and care for cats in need
  • Help shy, senior, or special-needs cats thrive
  • Free up shelter space so more animals can be rescued
  • Experience the joy and reward of saving lives firsthand
"Fostering changes lives—both theirs and yours!"

Who Can Foster?
We welcome fosters of all kinds! Whether you live in an apartment, a house, or share your home with other pets, you can make a difference. Ideal fosters:
  • Are compassionate and patient
  • Can commit to the care needed for the foster period
  • Are comfortable with basic cat care (feeding, litter, play, and cuddle)
  • Are willing to transport cats to vet appointments if needed
(We have foster opportunities for kittens, adult cats, seniors, and cats with medical needs.)

Foster Options
  • Short-term fosters: Perfect for cats who only need a few weeks to adjust from shelter to home life
  • Long-term fosters: Care for cats with medical needs or seniors who require more time
  • Medical fosters: Provide care for cats with health challenges—we provide guidance and support
