Foster home needed for Mila and her three babies!
Mila welcomed her three kittens on July 13, and they’re already one month old! They’ve started walking, exploring, and playing, and they’re quickly outgrowing their space in the shelter.
While Mila is doing a wonderful job caring for her babies, the shelter can be a stressful place for a mother cat to raise her kittens. A quiet foster home would give them the space and comfort they need during this important stage of development.
We’re looking for a foster home with a spare room or even a bathroom where the family can stay together. Ideally, there would be no other pets in the home, or they would need to be able to remain completely separated for the duration of the foster placement.
The foster placement would be between 2-4 months. More specifically, until the kittens are 3 months old and at least 3 kg, when they’ll be ready for their spay surgeries. Once the kittens are weaned, Mila will also be spayed, and then all four will return to the shelter to find their forever homes.
You don’t need experience with a litter of kittens to foster this family. We’ll provide guidance and support, you just need a safe space, a little time, and a willingness to learn.
Mila is a sweet, affectionate mom who loves people and takes excellent care of her kittens. Her babies are still developing their individual personalities, but all three are curious, bouncy, and full of playful energy.
