Our Mission 
The Gananoque & District Humane Society (GDHS) is a
volunteer run, no kill animal shelter that takes in abandoned or surrendered animals.
All of our adoptable pets are neutered / spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated prior to being available for adoption. 
We do not receive guaranteed funding and rely on the generosity of our community.
